Sheryl is a licensed personal trainer and nutrition/weight loss counselor. Without any prior experience, at age 45 she set a goal to compete in a professional figure competition. In her first competition, she earned 2nd place in Masters, Beginners, and Ms. Kansas. A month later, she earned first place in Masters, Novice, and Open Classes and was the cover story in Kansas City Fitness Magazine.

At age 23 and the mother of a young child, Sheryl was diagnosed with cancer. The kindness and support of medical staff surrounding her inspired her to become a nurse so that she could help, encourage, and be there for others going through the challenges of a devastating diagnosis. Sheryl managed a cancer clinic for many years in Olathe, Kansas and was able to “give back” by helping and being there for her patients as she had experienced during her illness. Once she had accomplished that, she decided to move on to her next passion, which is what began her career in aesthetics. She worked for premier skincare and medical spas in Overland Park, KS prior to returning to her home state, Oklahoma.

Before opening SKIN RN, Sheryl worked as a nurse injector for SkinMedic. Sheryl is very appreciative of the SkinMedic owners for their support and encouragement during the opening of SKIN RN. Sheryl is proud to continue serving SkinMedic clients with the same gold standard service and care they are accustomed to.

Sheryl is married with 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
